Prahaar (missile):
Prahaar is a solid-fuel rocket surface-to-surface guided short-range tactical ballistic missile for battlefield use developed by DRDO of India. It will be equipped with omnidirectional warheads and could be used for striking both tactical and strategic targets. Replacement for Prithvi-I.
Development stage:

Prahar was test-fired successfully on 21 July 2011 from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur. During the test Prahar travelled a distance of 150 km (93 mi) in about 250 seconds meeting all launch objectives and striking pre-designated target in the Bay of Bengal with a high degree of accuracy of less than 10 m (33 ft).
Pragati version:
The Export Variant of the System is Pragati surface to surface missile. It was unveiled for the first time by DRDO at ADEX 2013 in Seoul, South Korea.The Export version of Prahaar
known as "Pragati" is readied for export by DRDO in November 2014.
